The spaceEntering the apartment from the street level of Brooker Avenue, the sounds of the city are quickly muted behind the newly installed double-glazed windows. The inviting living room immediately welcomes you into its warmth and plushness. Tasmanian made alpaca and woollen throws provide you with an immediate urge to relax and snuggle up with a drop of your favourite beverage, a good book, game or listening to a few quiet tunes after a day of travelling or exploring. Just so happens that multi awarder winning wine maker Glazier Dixion is right next door. The lounge room can easily be converted into another bedroom with the sofa doubling as an extremely comfortable double bed, complete with mattress topper and electric blanket if required.
Up 4 small steps and through a framed glass door you enter the well appointed kitchen and dining area where there is always a selection of local and seasonal goodies to welcome you upon arrival. We aim to showcase a little snippet of our phenomenal local produce to greet you and encourage the sampling of our favourite local produce and condiments that we’ve sourced. Please enjoy anything from our little larder pantry. All the basics are covered. In the fully integrated fridge you will discover fresh milk, butter, chilled sparkling and filtered still water. It is recommended to double check all ingredient lists and reframe from sampling if in any doubt should you have food allergies or intolerances, just in case. The kitchen is fully equipped with induction cook top, oven, microwave, integrated fridge/freezer, dishwasher and coffee machine, should you feel like a quiet night in, although we are spoilt for choice being so close to many of the local award-winning restaurants within walking distance making cooking defiantly optional.
A 2 in 1 wash/dryer machine and foldout ironing board are also accessible from the kitchen. Adjoining this area is access to the cosy undercover courtyard through glass sliding doors that provide BBQ facilities and outdoor dining furniture.
It’s through an oversized vault like door off the kitchen/dining that the bedroom awaits, complete with the most luxurious and indulgent king size bed, fitted with an electric blanket for those chilly nights, a selection of pillows and additional blankets should you require creates a sanctuary sheltering you from the external world while you enjoy a tranquil and restorative sleep. The bedroom also offers a panel heater, built in wardrobes, where you’ll find our robes and slippers for your comfort as well as ample storage, hanging options and suitcase stand.
Flowing into the ensuite bathroom from the bedroom, again all the basics are covered. Locally hand made “Milie Organic” products are available for you to enjoy, a back lit make up and shaving mirror, professional hair dryer and straightening iron and make up removal flannels simply add to the easy and enjoyment of staying in “The Vault”

To enable us to personalise your stay with us once you’re booking is confirmed we will contact you to obtain a little more information, such as pillow preferences, dietary requirements and preferred beverage to sip as you relax and unwind.
We are extremely mindful of doing our bit to preserve this precious planet by making a conscious choice to eliminate chemicals and toxins from all products we use and supply, refilling, recycling and choosing only the finest quality products for you to enjoy during your stay. We only like the good stuff with no nasties.
Additional cleaning fees will be charged if required due to extreme mess
Any stolen goods will be charged at the replacement cost, receipts shall be sent for proof of purchase.

Not that you need a car during your stay at “The Vault” you are so close to EVERYTHING in Hobart that you can enjoy exploring your surroundings by strolling at your leisure through the picturise flat streets and overpasses or jump on an electric scooter if you wanted to go a little faster and further. Grabbing an uber is also an easy options. During the day street parking is limited and restricted, however in the evenings you could park at your front door. Should you require longer term parking there are options close by from as little as $15 per day. Simply have a chat with us.
